Preheat griddle or skillet to medium-low heat. Combine milk, vanilla, butter, and chocolate syrup in a large bow. Add flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder until combined.
Stir in chocolate chips. Spoon batter onto griddle. Flip when bubbles begin to form and edges look “dry”, then allow to cook 1-2 minutes longer. Top pancakes with syrup, powdered sugar, nuts, and additional chocolate chips.
