Sticky toffee caramel on top of delicious caramel corn.
4 cups plain air popped popcorn
1/3 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
6 tablespoons butter, divided
1/3 cup Hershey toffee bits
3 skor bars
Pop your popcorn, removing unpopped kernels and place popcorn in a large bowl. On stove over medium heat, melt together corn syrup, brown sugar, 4 tablespoons butter, and toffee bits, stirring constantly until mixture is smooth.
Pour mixture over popcorn and toss with a rubber spatula or large spoon until popcorn is well coated. Spread popcorn out on a large baking sheet or aluminum foil on your counter.
In the same pan used earlier, add 2 tablespoons butter and skor bars, breaking bars into smaller pieces as you add them to the pan. Stir over medium heat until toffee is completely melted (about 10 minutes).
Remove from heat and pour mixture over popcorn. Allow to cool completely and harden slightly before breaking into chunks.
